Our
Student Ministry (calendar) (updated 11/05/2008) is
dynamic, youth-created and youth-led.
Student Ministry is a triangle
of spiritual, service and social activities
with Christ at the center, and open to all
young people and their friends in three age
groups, 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12 grades.

HERE WE STAND! is the
catechism program from students in grades
seven through nine. It derives it's name
Martin Luther's answer to the Diet at Worms
about his profession of faith. Luther famously
said, "Here I stand, I can do no other. God
help me. Amen."
This program meets every other Wednesday
beginning in September through May from 7:15-8:30 P.M. The 1/2 year course for the 7th grade
students at Trinity will begin in January.
The students explore Lutheran Christian faith
and discipleship in large and small groups,
service projects, and team-building
opportunities. Learning is expressed using
small group ministry, multimedia
presentations, and experiential vignettes.
This also includes all those places where
youth serve in the congregation in worship and
learning, in witnessing and caring.
HERE WE GO...is a Sunday night ministry of fun
and fellowship for 7-9th grade students. This
group meets 1st & 3rd Sundays of Month 4:30-6:00 P.M. in the WELL. While it's name comes from
the catechism program, it is not necessary to
be in Here We Stand to attend.
Learning about being Lutheran isn't enough; we
must take that next step. Through fellowship,
games, and service, we work to apply our
Bible studies to life today...learning,
growing, and encountering issues and events
at school, in the community, and around the
world.
C.H.A.O.S. (Christ Honoring And Others Serving)
5-6th grade
Focuses on honoring Christ and
serving others. We meet the 2nd and 4th Sunday
each month from 4:30-6:00 p.m. and one other
time during the month. A typical Sunday night
will consist of food, fellowship, and faith-building. Friends are always welcome!
