Eric began his music studies at the age of six, first studying piano and later most woodwind instruments prior to beginning organ lessons while in the seventh grade. He was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, PA, area where he graduated from Whitehall High School.
He holds a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in Sacred Music from Westminster Choir
College of Rider University in Princeton, NJ, where he was an
organ student of Dr. Donald McDonald. Eric sees his role at Trinity
as part of a musical team, which proclaims the Gospel through the
use of a wide variety of musical resources and ensembles.
Eric is a member of the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.
In addition to his work at Trinity, Eric teaches both piano and organ, directs the Brittany Pointe Songsters, and occasionally performs as accompanist or solo in the community, including a recent opportunity as primary musician for a liturgy at the National Conference of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians in New York City.
Eric and his partner of seven years, Matthew, and cat, Sabbath, recently moved into their new home in nearby Franconia Township.
