Luther as Editor and Illustrator

Presented by The Rev. Karl Krueger, Ph.D.Library Director & Professor of the History of Christianity

This three-week series examines the German Bibles that Martin Luther worked on in 1534 and 1541. It presents Luther as an editor and illustrator who worked closely with the printers in Wittenberg so that text and image would showcase evangelical theology. The sessions feature PowerPoint presentations that let us see and experience the novelty of Luther’s integrative approach.

Come, see, and be enriched.
