disabilities. The site describes the adult and child services available,

Pastor/Pilot Lee Berry - An ecumenical Christian ministry
that proclaims Jesus Christ and serves the Church and individuals in remote

to this wonderful mission.
Southeastern PA Synod-ELCA - MinistryLink
is the website of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America. It provides: News of the Synod, the Mission
and Ministry of Lutherans in Southeastern Pennsylvania, A Directory of
Congregations, Resources for Congregations, and much more.
The Wellness Community at Philadelphia- The mission of The
Wellness Place is to assist the cancer patient and family on their hopeful
journey to recovery. They assist people with cancer, at no charge, to
take part in their recovery through education, self-help, inspiration,
hope, and hugs. It is a center for adults and children who presently have
or have had cancer. People can come to support each other emotionally
and psychologically in a cozy setting. All The Wellness Place volunteers
have had cancer or have been affected by cancer directly or indirectly.
They offer various lectures on a number of related topics and hold a number
of special events. The organization is located on the entire first floor
of Luther Hall, and planned hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday
thru Friday.
American Bible Society - A society that
makes the Bible available to every person in a language and format each
can understand. Some of what the online site provides are translations
of the Scriptures, provides articles about the Bible, answers frequently
asked questions about the Bible, accepts prayer requests, and provides
a daily Bible reading. They even have an online book store to purchase
religious materials for all ages.
Augsburg Fortress Publishers - The publishing
house for the ELCA, this group provides the service of shopping for materials
such as devotions, resources for women, adult Bible study, christian music,
sunday school, videos, and supplies.
Bear Creek Camp - A camp and conference
center owned and operated by the Northeast and Southeast Synods of the
ELCA. The site describes the types of services and provides detail about
chldren's summer programs, upcoming events, and the Nature Center.
Bible Gateway - A website
that provides the ability to look up passages and/or words from one of
a number of Bible versions. The site offers this service in 20 languages
and is very user friendly.
The Christian Century - An online magazine
that focuses on the challenges of faith that arise in our everyday lives.
The company has published articles by the most respected theologians,
historians and church leaders and has been recognized for its concern
for relating faith to political, cultural and social issues. Readers of
the Century are kept informed of the events that are defining religious
life today. The influence of religion in public life, the theological
direction of mainline churches, and the everyday struggles of Christians
to live out the gospel are explored each week.
Christianity Online - An online service
associated with the magazine, Christianity Today. It provides information,
news, services and many other topics associated with Christian views.

out about the content of movies playing in theatres and on video. Each
movie/video is rated by categories such as language, sexual content, etc.
The Fisher's Net - An
e-learning group that delivers online courses and Web-based resources
to theological learners. Provided by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
America (ELCA) seminaries, Augsburg Fortress Publishers, and Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans, the Fisher's Net offers resources such as The
Bible Tutor, a Web-based program that helps people master basic content
of the Bible through independent study and ATLAS, a searchable database
of major religion and theology journals. It also gives technical support
and training to educational providers. These services are provided for
a fee.
Heifer Project International - Rooted in
the Christian Tradition, Heifer Project International works for the dignity
and well being of all people. With more than 50 years experience, Heifer
has a proven approach to helping people obtain a sustainable source of
food and income by providing farm animals to families around the world.
Heifer animals (and training in their care) offer hungry families around
the world a way to feed themselves and become self-reliant. Children receive
nutritious milk or eggs; families earn income for school, health care
and better housing; communities go beyond meeting immediate needs to fulfilling

Liberty Lutheran Services - Part of the
Lutheran Social Ministry outreach in Southeastern Pennsylvania, the three
Organizations that make up Liberty Lutheran Services include Artman Home,
Lutheran Children and Family Services, and Paul's Run. These agencies
have come together to build caring communities of people to provide a
comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of people of all ages. The
website provides information about all three agencies.

Lutheran Children and Family Services -
An affiliate to Liberty Lutheran Services, this organization provides

Lutheran Theological Seminary - LTSP is
learning and worshipping community of teachers and students centered in
the Gospel of the crucified and risen Christ, firmly committed to Scripture
and the Lutheran Confessions, with an intentional openness to enrichment
from other traditions. The site provides information of the seminary,
academics, and degree programs. The site also offers resources for congregational
ministry.
Lutheran Website for Seekers - An ELCA program
that provides guidance to those who are in need. The site has a 7-step
program that helps people through life. The program contains stories about
faith & God, daily devotions & Bible readings, prayer ventures,
a calendar for children, a teens section, how to volunteer, FAQs, etc.
Lutheran World Federation - A global communion
of Christian churches in the Lutheran tradition. The LWF acts on behalf
of its member churches in areas of common interest such as theology, humanitatian
assistance, human rights, communication, and mission & development
work. The site provides publications, news, and other information.
Lutheran World Relief
- Lutheran World Relief works in overseas development and relief on behalf
of the Lutherans in The USA. LWR shares aid on the basis of need now,
and forges long-term partnerships for the road ahead. Poor communities
and refugees receive assistance from LWR as they work to secure: Water,
food - for today and next year; Health care, clothing, shelter, and warmth;
Literacy, education, skills training; Strong, representative community
organizations; Full participation of women; A voice for the poor. This

The Lutheran Magazine

The Stewardship of Life Institute
- an ELCA-affiliated nonprofit devoted to teaching, inspiring, equipping and
challenging Lutherans to live out stewardship as more than just financial
support of the church. The site, designed for clergy and lay church members,
offers resources to help with some of the practical aspects of congregational
stewardship, but focuses on the spiritual-development and discipleship
dimensions of stewardship.
