Every Sunday and at special services and events there are members of the Maintenance Support Group that are there to open and close the church. On Sundays, two members serve during the morning services. One member opens the church approximately one hour before the first service and stays until relieved by the closing person at 10:00 a.m. The closing person remains for the rest of the services and secures the facilities after the last service. For special services such as Wednesday Lenten services, Thanksgiving Eve and concerts, only one person serves. They arrive as required by each event and remain to secure the facilities after the service or concert. There are no special skills required other than basic homeowner knowledge. Training is provided prior to serving. At the present time the Sunday morning team serves once every sixth week. For special services and events members serve on a rotational basis. Every evening, for every evening of the year, a member of the Evening Security Team arrives at the church around 10:00 p.m. to secure the facilities by making sure all exterior doors are locked, all lights are off and restroom plumbing is turned off. Each member serves for one week starting on Sunday evening and finishing on the following Saturday. During the week you will be assisted by the second shift Trinity custodial person. Once you have become familiar with the routine it takes about thirty minutes to complete the rounds. Training will be provided prior to starting your first week. Currently each member serves once every eleven weeks. For more information please contact John Walz at 215-855-0949 or e-mail at email@example.com. You may also contact Vicki Seal at the church office.
